I was born in Sonapur, a small beautiful village by the river and located in the center of Pabna. It is a small village. There is one high school, two primary schools, an Exports Processing Zone and two madrasahs in this village. I and my friends some times visit the EPZ. There are a post office and a small library too. We can borrow books from the library. We borrow books on history, poetry and children’s classics. About 7000 people in our village. They mainly depend on agriculture. They grow rice, jute, and vegetables. The people of this village are very peaceful and polite. Most of the people in our village are Muslims. Hindus and Christians also live in this locality. The village has a bazar on the roadside. This is a very noisy and dirty place. I never go to bazar. The village roads are also narrow and dirty. Although there is electricity in Daulatpur, the villagers experience frequent load shedding in summer.
